Model mum dishes out schoolgate fashion advice to fellow mums
Regularly photographed looking flawless and catwalk-ready during her early morning school run, supermodel Claudia Schiffer has spoken out about the rules of dressing appropriately.
“You can’t be too over-dressed or too sexy on the school run. It’s about being practical and comfortable,” said Claudia, talking to Harper’s Bazaar magazine.
Claudia and fellow high-profile celeb mums, such as Stella McCartney, Elle McPherson and Kirstie Allsop, all have children who attend the same school in London and are regularly seen at the school gates.
Although 40-year-old Claudia sticks to her rules with understated and chic outfits whilst taking her two children, Caspar, 8, and Clementine, 7, to school, clearly Elle McPherson didn’t get the dress-code memo…
Lingerie model Elle regularly does the school run in perfectly constructed outfits, including leather trousers, Christian Louboutin spiked boots and coiffed, blow-dried hair.
