Mayoral’s My First Steps range has long been a hit with parents and this season is no exception. As usual, the shoes contain removable insoles that are antibacterial, ergonomic and made with the comfort shock system, a clever design feature that offers greater cushioning when walking – ideal for those first steps.

The brand has also taken its lightweight soles up a notch with a raised toe and heel to protect the foot, a flex area to promote mobility and a slip-resistant finish to secure the footing. Better still, the different models have rounded shapes to provide proper comfort for tiny toes. The Velcro fastenings, zips and elastic laces are also perfect for those mornings when you’re in a hurry and need to get out the door fast!
