Maltesers® crispy bars
SERVES 24| PREP 20 mins, plus chilling | Easy
Ingredients
• Unsalted butter 60g
• Marshmallows 320g, chopped
• Toasted rice cereal 200g
• M&M’S® Chocolate Eggs 1 x 80g bag, lightly crushed
• Milk chocolate 200g, finely chopped
• White chocolate 200g, finely chopped
• Maltesers® Milk Chocolate Mini Bunnies 1 x 58g bag
• Maltesers® White Chocolate Mini Bunnies 1 x 58g bag
Method
Step 1
Lightly grease and line a 28cm x 18cm tin with baking paper. Melt the butter and marshmallows in a large saucepan over a low heat, stirring occasionally.
Step 2
Remove from the heat and stir in the toasted rice cereal and M&M’S® Chocolate Eggs, then tip the mixture into the prepared tin and press it flat, using slightly wet hands (to prevent it from sticking to you).
Step 3
Add the milk and white chocolate to separate heatproof bowls, then melt them over pans of gently simmering water. Dot spoonfuls of milk chocolate over the cereal mixture, then spoon the white chocolate into the gaps until all the cereal is covered.
Step 4
Swirl a skewer or fork through the chocolate to create a marbled effect, then gently tap the base of the tin on a flat surface to level it out. Top with all the Maltesers® Mini Bunnies, then leave to chill for a few hours, or until the chocolate is set. To serve, bring to room temperature and cut into squares with a sharp knife.
