Gemma has two decades of experience producing and editing online content. She studied journalism at the London College of Fashion and got her break as one of the UK's first professional bloggers, leading to a number of editing roles at independent online publishing companies in the UK. She has been featured in the Guardian, Vogue, the Independent and many more, and has appeared on Sky News and BBC Radio, as well as at live events like the Ideal Home Show and The Baby Show. Cosmopolitan magazine once featured Gemma in its list of "Kick Ass Women Who’re Changing The World."
Before joining MadeForMums, Gemma was Senior Editor at Popsugar UK, where she launched a number of new channels including Parenting. She is mum to a preschooler, aunt to 4 children 5 and under, and loves nothing more than recommending the perfect pushchair, cot or baby carrier to make new parents' lives a little bit easier.
She is particularly passionate about sleep (for babies and parents) and loves testing out gadgets, technology and innovation in the parenting world. She can also spend hours discussing the merits of certain swaddles and sleeping bags. She knows everything the Very Hungry Caterpillar ate on Saturday, and all the lyrics to The Wiggles "Do the Propeller".
