MadeForMums Toilet and Bathtime Awards 2025 Winners: Best bath products
From the cutest hooded baby bath towels to fun bath toys for all ages, our parent and child judges have explored the very best bathtime products for a splashing good time.

Bathtime is a sweet bonding experience for you and your baby – as well as being a whole lot of splashingly good fun. Our baby and child testers, with a helping hand from their grown-ups, put a range of bathtime products to the test to find out which delivered award-winning results.
Best Bath Accessories
Whether it's a clever device to check the temperature of your bath water or a safe non-slip mat to prevent bathtime accidents, some products just make bathing your baby or child so much easier. These are the kind of products you wouldn't necessarily have on your must-buy list, but once you have them you'll wonder how you lived without them.
Our little baby and child testers, and their parents, got stuck into testing a mix of bath accessories. They looked at how useful they were, what value they added to bathtime and whether they were worth the money. These are our winners.
Gold: Munchkin White Hot Safety Bath Duck

Such a great budget buy! The battery-free colour change function is simple to use and I love that the duck is water-tight to prevent mould and limescale building on the inside. It also doubles as a robust bath toy which both my children loved playing with.
MadeForMums Editorial Team say: "This clever bath duck was a clear winner for us due to its simplicity, value and kid-friendly appeal. A great budget buy for baby's bathtime."
Silver: Munchkin Dandy Dots Non-Slip Baby & Toddler Bath Mat

I'm a big fan of the look of this mat – I love the simple design, it's fun for my daughter to look at without being too garish. It's a great quality product and creates a safe non-slip surface for the bath; I wouldn't be able to safely bathe my daughter without this.
MadeForMums Editorial Team say: "A must-have for every bathroom, we love the length, durability and effectiveness of this bath mat – plus the colours are sure to brighten up the bath tub!"
Bronze: Frida Baby Control The Flow Rinser

My 3-year-old daughter responded well to this – there wasn't the usual distress and upset over washing her hair as the water wasn't going in her eyes. I'd say the overall design was effective and controlled the water flow, and I like the slimline design, which means it can sit comfortably on the side of the bath.
MadeForMums Editorial Team say: "A great option for babies and children who don't like having their hair washed, the effective design of the jug creates a gentle stream of water and might just make bathtime easier to handle."
Best Baby Bath or Bath Support
An age-appropriate baby bath or bath support makes bathtime fuss-free and as safe as can be. Whether it's a reclining baby bath for young babies or a bath seat for older babies and toddlers, this reassuring piece of kit makes sure your little one can splash away in safety.
Our group of parent testers, along with their little helpers, put these baby bath and bath supports through their paces. Our testers focused on how easy they made the whole bathtime experience, whether their baby was comfortable and content, as well as each product's safety features, to help choose our award winners.
Joint Gold: Shnuggle Newborn Bath Support

This is great value for money, really well made and very well designed. The shape of the seat is very ergonomic and seemed very comfortable for my baby. She stopped crying and seemed to enjoy the bath which was a positive sign. The bath dries quickly too, which is key.
MadeForMums Editorial Team say: "Brilliant value, easy to use and, most importantly, safely and securely supports your baby in the bath thanks to its ergonomic design and soft non-slip material – a great bathtime option for newborns and beyond."
Joint Gold: Shnuggle Baby Bath with Plug

Easily the best baby bath I have tried, and cheaper than other alternatives too. There's no need to fill up the bath and no mesh inserts which build up dirt. The shape supports the baby in a good upright position, and it feels durable and well made.
MadeForMums Editorial Team say: "Sturdy and durable, but also lightweight and comfortable – we love how functional and effective this baby bath is, plus its compact design, which makes it quicker and easier to fill and drain, meant that this was a clear winner for us."
Silver: ebebek baby plus Bath Seat

The opening safety bars and large, roomy, well supported seat have made bathtime much easier for us as parents, and much more comfortable for our daughter. My little girl loves her new bath seat and she is able to play with ease every bathtime. We are completely converted!
MadeForMums Editorial Team say: "Supports babies really well, is incredibly easy to use and makes bathtime easier – a good and practical bath seating solution."
Best Bath Towels
Nothing beats those post-bath cuddles, and a soft, cosy, snuggly bath towel definitely makes it all the better. When it comes to baby and kid bath towels they need to be super-soft (no matter how many spins in the washing machine), big enough to wrap them up and, ideally, with a cute hood for warmth.
Our team of parent testers and baby testers have been rounding off bathtime in style, testing out a range of cosy bath towels designed for little ones. Here are our winners.
Joint Gold: My 1st Years Personalised Ivory Hooded Towel

The option to personalise this towel is great – it will make a wonderful keepsake for my son. It's soft and warm, quick and easy to dry with, and the ears on the hood are such a cute addition.
MadeForMums Editorial Team say: "We think this would make a perfect new baby or baby shower gift — the towel is incredibly soft and fluffy, very absorbent and the option to personalise it really makes this towel stand out."
Joint Gold: Panda Kids™ Bamboo Hooded Towel

This is one of the softest towels I've ever felt. The beautiful bamboo fabric is hypoallergenic and antibacterial, so great for newborns and children with sensitive skin. It's also great quality and comes in 2 generous sizes to wrap up and snuggle your little one.
MadeForMums Editorial Team say: "A lovely, luxurious bath towel for wrapping up your kids after bathtime – the soft bamboo fabric really makes it stand out and the larger size means it should grow with your child."
Silver: The Cuddledry 'Hands-free' Baby Towel

What sets this apart are the press studs, allowing the towel to be wrapped around your neck. It feels safer getting my baby out of the bath with this towel clipped around me. The fabric is really thick, soft and luxurious, even after washing.
MadeForMums Editorial Team say: "A truly innovative towel that stands out not only due its incredibly clever design, but also its softness, thickness and quality."
Best Bath Toys
Play shouldn't have to stop when it's time for a wash. Bath toys are fantastic for sensory water play, imaginative play and are a great way to distract your baby if they're not the biggest fan of bathtime.
Testing out a whole host of bath toys, our baby and child testers got busy scooping, pouring, squirting and stacking to decide which toys came out top. Along with their parents, our little testers looked at how much fun the toys were, how often they were reached for and whether they appealed to a wide age range. These are our winners.
Joint Gold: TOMY Toomies Foam Cone Factory Deluxe

Amaya loved loading the bowl with 'ice cream', shaking the water sprinkles over the top, and had lots of fun lining up the cones on the side of the bath. Her older brothers were both desperate for a turn – it's just as appealing to 6 and 7 year olds and has become a firm favourite.
MadeForMums Editorial Team say: "We had so much fun testing this out, but not quite as much as one of our testers who said 'This is probably the best bath toy my children have had, as it has held both my 1 and 4 year olds' attention throughout their entire bath time and even my almost 7 year old (and us 2 parents) love playing with it!' This toy really did bring the bath time fun factor!"
Joint Gold: TOMY Toomies Bluey Family Bath Set

So engaging and fun. There are so many different ways of playing with the toys, like pouring, playing games with the characters and putting spinners under the tap. My little one even let me use Bingo to pour water over his hair, which is usually a huge challenge!
MadeForMums Editorial Team say: "These simple Bluey bath toys were a huge hit with our testers who said they offered so many different ways to play with them, and that they provide an excellent opportunity to develop not only creative play but also gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and imagination. Plus, they have little holes to assist drying, meaning no mould!"
Available from: Smyths Toys
Joint Silver: TOMY Toomies Bath Barista

My youngest absolutely loves this, and his older brothers have played with it non-stop too. They love the frother and have really enjoyed making me coffees, hot chocolates and many more less appetising drinks! There's lots to keep the kids entertained and it's definitely worth the money.
MadeForMums Editorial Team say: "A huge hit in our testers' households, and we get the appeal. It's so much fun frothing foam!"
Joint Silver: Splash About Pufferfish Pool & Bath Toy

Brightly coloured, textured and with little fins that are perfect for tiny grasping hands, they caught my son's attention straight away. The best bit? They air dry quickly and with no holes for mould to grow in. I think they are perfect for sensory play in the bath, pool, as well as out of the water.
MadeForMums Editorial Team say: "These tactile, adorable little pufferfish are so simple but so fun and make an ideal first bath toy. We love that they can't get water in them, so stay mould free. Bonus points that they're totally safe for teething babies too, so you can happily let them chomp on it."
Bronze: Ubbi Bath Toy Gift Set

The sticky stars were absolutely brilliant – my son thought they were hilarious and we haven't had any bath toys like this before. The fact they can all go in the dishwasher is great. I think anyone would be lucky to have this set, it's been really well thought out and would make a wonderful new baby gift.
MadeForMums Editorial Team say: "This makes a lovely gift for a toddler, and we like that there are lots of different elements to keep toddlers engaged. It's also dishwasher safe, so no mould too!"
