Broccoli is a veggie superstar: high in fibre and other great nutrients. Once you've got your baby used to the slightly bitter taste of broccoli on its own, this pairing with butternut squash makes for a lovely flavour combination

  • 200g butternut squash, peeled and diced
  • 100g broccoli florets

    Method

    • step 1

      Put the squash into a steamer and steam for 8 minutes.

    • step 2

      Add the broccoli and continue to steam for another 5 to 8 minutes, until soft.

    • step 3

      Spoon into a jug and blend until smooth, using a stick blender.
