  • 2 Eating apples
    peeled and cored
  • 3tbsp Apple juice
    or boiled water

    Method

    • step 1

      Chop your chosen fruit into small even sized pieces.

    • step 2

      Put these into a heavy based saucepan with the apple juice or water.

    • step 3

      Cover the pan and cook over a low heat (about 6 mins for apples) until the fruit is tender.

    • step 4

      Blend the fruit to a very smooth puree (no lumps) using an electric hand blender.
