A simple and tasty first puree, which is perfect at the very beginning of weaning, but also great to add to plain yogurt and breakfast porridge

- 2 Eating apples
- 1 Very ripe banana
Method
step 1
Peel and core the apples and slice into small chunks.

Peel and chop the banana into small pieces.
step 3
Place in a pan, cover in water, bring to the boil and simmer for six to eight minutes (or until soft).

Drain and puree to desired consistency.

*Try mashing rather than pureeing for older babies, and serve with natural yoghurt for a tasty pudding.
