  • 100g Cauliflower
  • 2tsp Baby rice
  • 1tbsp Cheddar cheese
  • 2 Carrots

    Method

    • step 1

      Peel and slice the carrots. Wash and chop the cauliflower.

    • step 2

      Boil the carrots and cauliflower together in a little water, until tender.

    • step 3

      Drain, retaining the cooking water.

    • step 4

      Blend the carrots and cauliflower into a smooth puree with about 60ml of the cooking water.

    • step 5

      Add the baby rice and cheese and heat through, stirring until the cheese has melted.

    • step 6

      The amount of baby rice and / or water can be adjusted to alter the consistency.

    Tips

    Try substituting the carrot for sweet potato or the cauliflower for broccoli to help get your baby used to lots of new flavours.
