  • ½ Apple
  • A bunch of grapes
    cut in half
  • 3 Strawberries
  • ½ Mango
  • 3tbsp Cottage cheese

    Method

    • step 1

Peel, slice and chop the fruit up into medium sized chunks.

    • step 2

Spoon out the cottage cheese into a bowl.

    • step 3

Add the chopped and sliced fruit to the bowl and serve.

    • Expand your baby’s taste buds by serving up different variations of cottage cheese; try cottage cheese and pineapple for a sweet treat or cottage cheese with herbs (or add you own to a tub of plain cottage cheese).
    • For younger babies, you can use soft fruit such as bananas and sliced grapes – they make excellent finger food for very young babies. If you're using a very hard apple, try steaming it first to soften.
    • Don’t forget to chop up some extra fruit for yourself for a healthy and low fat snack!
    • SAFETY FIRST: always chop grapes in half for babies and small children to reduce the risk of choking.
