Spaghetti bolognese

- 1tbsp Olive oil
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 500g Minced beef
- 1 Onionfinely chopped
- 1 Carrotgrated
- 400g Chopped tomatoes
- 1tbsp Tomato purée
Method
step 1
Heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry onion, garlic and grated carrot until soft.

Add the mince and fry until it turns from pink to grey.
step 3
Add the tin of chopped tomatoes and the tomato puree and simmer until the sauce is thick (20-30 minutes).
step 4
Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti following the instructions on the packet.
step 5
Use scissors to cut the spaghetti into 3-5cm long pieces.
