Actress Katherine Heigl’s 3-year-old daughter Naleigh is the star of her singer dad’s new music video. Intimate home video clips of Naleigh appear in Josh Kelly’s music video for Naleigh Moon, a song dedicated to their little girl.
In the lyrics, dad Josh reveals how much he loves his little girl Naleigh, who was born in Korea and adopted by the couple in September 2009.
“Halfway around my little world, you had no idea that you were my girl. You found my arms not a moment too soon,” sings Josh, 31.
The heartwarming video, directed by mum Katherine, 33, includes adorable clips of the couple’s private family moments. In one clip, Naleigh can be seen trying to mop the floor in her onesie!
The video even features a shot of the Korean Air boarding pass from when they adopted Naleigh and the US Citizenship and Immigration Services documents.
“The idea was to show how Naleigh changed our lives, Josh’s life specifically. We did it with no budget. I directed it, and we asked friends to edit it. We’re proud of it,” said Katherine, reported in The Daily Mail.
It looks like Jay-Z is not the only celeb dad declaring his love for his daughter in song…lucky girls!
