Simon Cowell’s baby car seat and Eric’s new friends
Simon shows off his Group 0+ car seat choice and tweets new baby pic
It’s one of the first jobs a new dad might want to do for his baby – choose the car seat.
We imagine X Factor mogul Simon Cowell, 54, put a lot of thought into how he’d take his newborn Eric home from hospital.
And we can reveal Simon's chosen car seat is the Cybex Charcoal Aton Q, costing £185.
The seat is suitable from birth up to 18 months and has been designed to enable a baby to lie in a way that the angle between head, neck and chest is as flat as possible.
Cybex says this reduces the risk of breathing difficulties, especially for premature babies and very small newborns.
We're not surprised that Simon went for the slick 'Charcoal' colourway; it suits the monochrome-dressed couple down to a T.
And that’s not the only baby purchase Simon has made. He later showed that he's carrying on the grey baby theme by posting a picture of Eric wrapped in a grey blanket with a knitted elephant and plush teddy with a silver bow.
He tweeted: “Eric's new friends”
We wonder if the whole nursery is kitted out in shades of shades of black and grey? We've not spotted baby blue anywhere yet!
Simon’s partner Lauren Silverman, 36, gave birth to a 6lb 7oz baby boy at 5.45pm on Valentine’s Day in a New York hospital.
And just three days later she’s been spotted leaving her New York hotel in a pair of tight leather trousers. Can you imagine how uncomfortable they must be? Give us a pair of pyjama bottoms any day…
Take it easy Lauren!
