Latitude Festival

Best for: All ages | 24th to 27th July 2025 | Suffolk
As an award-winning family festival, there are few better festivals to take your children to than Latitude Festival. The weekend experience boasts a huge programme for kids of all ages in its three dedicated areas. The Kids Area is like a mini-festival within a festival, and offers activities, workshops and entertainment for children of all ages. The Enchanted Garden is located in Latitude Festival's dedicated family campsite, and there is space for your kids to run about and take part in a range of activities like face painting and archery, all in a relaxed environment. Meanwhile Camp Greenpeace puts emphasis on nature. It's worth noting that there's no extra cost for any of the workshops or activities.

Camp Bestival

Best for: All ages | 31st July to 3rd August 2025 | Dorset
Camp Bestival is the original UK family festival, and it's designed by families specifically for families. Not only does Camp Bestival have exciting activities for children of all ages, such as skateboarding lessons, crown making, flag making, and even a kids talent show, but it has relaxed spaces, too. There are facilities for parents with young babies like changing and feeding areas, as well as dedicated sensory areas and quiet spaces.
We also wanted to draw your attention to Camp Bestival's Camp Kids Extra Pass; for £49.50, your child will get a welcome pack with drawstring backpack, water bottle and meal tokens that count for six kids' meals, three sweet treats, and unlimited fruit and filtered water.

Deer Shed Festival

Best for: All ages | 25th to 28th July 2025 | North Yorkshire
Unlike the other festivals we've mentioned, Deer Shed has made it its mission to ensure the whole festival is suitable for families from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, rather than having dedicated areas. That being said, there are still kids-specific activities such as 'mini shedders' which offers soft play, musical garden, and bubble hour, and there are cinema screenings of family films like Wicked, as well as art and science tents, and sports like football and kayaking.

Wilderness Festival

Best for: All ages | 31st July to 3rd August 2025 | Oxfordshire
Wilderness Festival has a brilliant line-up of artists for parents, like Basement Jaxx, Supergrass, and Annie Mac, while also being a brilliant place to bring your little ones.
Just a few of the highlights Wilderness Festival offers is 321 Let's Have Fun, an award winning family-run business which offers a play zone for smaller children; Tootles & Nibs, which is a theatre and events company who — in their own words — 'refuses to grow up'. Tootles & Nibs are known for their fantastic stories and treasure hunts. There's also Rhubarb Theatre (which is now in its 25th year), and it tours nationally with a diverse programme of performances, street theatre, storytelling, and workshops. You might recognise Tootles & Nibs if you've been to other festivals such as Glastonbury, Latitude, and YNot Festival.

Big Feastival

Best for: All ages | 22nd to 24th August 2025 | The Cotswolds
If you and your family are big foodies, the Big Feastival is certainly the festival for you. Not only does it have a brilliant music line-up, with the likes of Nelly Furtado, The Wombats, and Sophie Ellis-Bextor, but there's plenty to do in the way of food, too. For example, you can hear from Raymond Blanc and Si King, and take part in cookery schools and culinary masterclasses.
There's also plenty for children, too, like Lizzie's Way Wild Play which is a woodland play area for little ones, The Farmyard Circus, and Feastival's Got Talent.
