Olympic hero Chris Hoy's wife chatted to Lorraine on her ITV show, with her healthy 1-year-old bouncing on her knee.

It's hard to believe now that Callum weighed just 2lb 2oz was when he was born 11 weeks early in October last year.

Sarra, 34, was diagnosed with preeclampsia and HELLP Syndrome at 29 weeks pregnant and given an emergency caesarean.

'It was a terrifying time,' she told Lorraine.

'I barely had a bump. I wasn’t even in maternity clothes,' she said.

'It had been a very healthy pregnancy but I’d been in hospital feeling slightly unwell the week before and then suddenly we were told he had to come out.'

She also paid tribute to her Olympian husband. 'I have to say Chris was amazing and was my absolute support.'

When Callum was born, he was too small for the tiniest baby clothes. "I remember desperately waiting for him to grow into something," said Sarra.

But now, wriggling around on his mum's lap, Callum has made amazing progress.

'The baby leads you through it a lot of the time,' said Sarra, who is a lawyer. 'We were lucky Callum came out and did really well.'

'When we take him into the consultant we get a gold star.'
