Drew Barrymore gets tattoo of daughters' names - and the lettering is judged
Was the break-up of her marriage the spur for Drew to get tattoos of her daughters' names, Olive and Frankie
It's a trend that's become popular with parents everywhere, be they celebrities or just regular folk. And US actress and former child star, Drew Barrymore has become the latest parent to get inked with the names of her children.
The 41-year-old, who starred in ET and 50 First Dates, shared pictures of herself on Instagram getting her daughters' names tattooed on the inside of her wrist, with the caption "Getting a great little lifetime note on my arm".
And is it a coincidence that this has happened just as she and husband Will Kopelman have announced their shock separation. Drew and Will married in 2012 and are parents to 3-year-old Olive and 1-year-old Frankie.
The pictures show her with the tattoo artist who inked on her personal design as well as a black and white close up of the tattoo itself.
It seems the new tat was a hit with most of Drew's fans commenting on how much they liked the inking.
But one divisive point was the style of the lettering Drew had opted for.
One user commented: "Who designed the letter fonts Drew? Sweet tat, looks like children writing."
Some were less polite with one user commenting that the lettering looked like something that had been written on a toilet cubicle.
But another commented that they had a similar design: "I have my boys names on my right wrist @drewbarrymore love this and so special!!!!"
Would you consider getting a tattoo of your children's names?
