Finding fame and her TV producer husband
Holly Willoughby started off her career as a model after being discovered at The Clothes Show when she was 15-years-old. However, after modelling stints for lingerie companies and Pretty Polly, Holly decided to move into television and landed her first job as co-presenter on children's TV channel CD:UK.
Holly went on to present on CBBC, Children's Stars in Their Eyes and Ministry of Mayhem alongside Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly - and it was here that Holly met her future husband, TV producer Dan Baldwin.
Holly and Dan got engaged in 2006 and married in August 2007 at Amberley Castle, West Sussex.
Holly’s pregnancy with Harry
In 2008, Holly announced that she was expecting their 1st baby – a boy. At the time she fell pregnant, Holly was presenting the Xtra Factor (behind the scenes of The X Factor). It was during one of the audition shows that cheeky Simon Cowell outed Holly's pregnancy for all to hear saying, "Congratulations to you," with fellow judge Louis Walsh adding: "On the pregnancy." Whether she liked it or not, Holly's baby news was out there!
During Holly's pregnancy, she launched her own maternity clothing range with online fashion retailer Littlewoods Direct. Her collection emulated her feminine style, featuring curve-friendly wrap dresses, bold colours and floral prints.
Holly was also presenting her 1st series of Dancing On Ice when she was pregnant. The press went crazy over her choice of dresses which showed off her ample bosom, and Holly refreshingly admitted that she wasn't hung up about gaining weight during her pregnancy.
"I've loved seeing the changes in my shape. From the moment I found out I was pregnant, I couldn't wait to be huge!" she said at the time.
Harry
Holly gave birth to her son, who she named Harry James, on 10 May 2009 who weighed in at 7lb 4oz. Just before she gave birth, it was announced that Holly was going to be the next presenter on the This Morning show alongside her Dancing On Ice co-presenter, Phillip Schofield.
Just 4 months after Holly gave birth, she began her early morning stints on the famous sofa (replacing This Morning veteran Fern Britton), juggling a new baby and a demanding TV job. However, despite this, Holly admitted that her new routine worked out perfectly for her.
“I get to wake up with him, go to work for a couple of hours and then finish at lunchtime and spend the rest of the afternoon with him. The perfect job has truly come at the perfect time," she said at the time.
Holly also showed off her new arrival to The X Factor judges, too. Despite saying that she was worried baby Harry would puke all over Cheryl Cole - she introduced Harry to the team and admitted that Harry was the only person not scared of Simon Cowell!
Holly designed a post-baby clothing range with fashion retailer Very, which featured styles to accommodate extra curves.
Holly’s pregnancy with Belle
In late 2010, Holly announced that her and Dan were going to give Harry a sibling. Holly announced her 2nd pregnancy on Twitter and later revealed that son Harry was going to have a little sister to play with.
Although Holly didn't launch another maternity clothing range, she kept herself busy presenting another series of Dancing On Ice, and wasn't the only pregnant celebrity on set – former Spice Girl and now DOI judge Emma Bunton also announced she was pregnant around the same time as Holly!
During her 2nd pregnancy, Holly revealed that she had been suffering from migraines and later said it was because she was anaemic.
Holly went into labour a month early and her followers on Twitter were kept informed by her co-presenter Phillip Schofield and best friend, Radio One DJ Fearne Cotton. While Fearne tweeted pictures of her jokingly sucking in Holly's gas and air, Phillip told fans that Holly was experiencing a long labour.
Belle
Holly gave birth to her 2nd child, a baby girl named Belle, after a 50-hour labour. She announced her news again on Twitter and revealed her baby's name.
Although she went a bit quiet post-birth, Holly spoke out on the panel show Celebrity Juice, which she co-presents with best mate Fearne and comic Leigh Francis. It was here that she defended her daughter's name after Leigh thought it was funny that she was referred to as 'Baby Belle' - like the cheese!
Holly’s pregnancy with Chester
She’d always wanted 3 children, so when her 3rd pregnancy came as a surprise, she was over the moon. “Surprise Surprise (and it was a surprise!!) I’m really happy and excited to tell you that Dan and I are expecting baby number 3,” she wrote on her website at the time.
Having already had 1 of each, Holly and Dan decided to keep the gender of her 3rd baby a surprise.
The working mum was determined not to put her feet up and vowed to “keep working” on This Morning until she went into labour.
When it was finally time for Holly to start her maternity leave, she bid a teary farewell to viewers and handed the reigns over to Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden.
Chester
Less than 2 weeks later, Holly gave birth to her second son, Chester William, on 29 September 2014, weighing 8lb 12oz.
"I'm sooo happy to tell you all - we've just had a baby boy!" she tweeted.
Truly Happy Baby and beyond
In 2016, Holly released a parenting book called Truly Happy Baby: It Worked For Me. It featured her own take on parenting, plus some handy tips for new mums - including some thoughts that might help get a little one to sleep.
She also revealed she might be keen to have more children in the future, as the MailOnline reports, from The Sun: "I love being pregnant and I love having babies.
"I don't want that area of my life to be over because it makes me sad to think I'd not be doing it again."
