We've done the poll just in time for Roald Dahl Day on 13 September - but can you guess which classic came out on top?
Every year on 13 September, the world remembers much-loved children's author Roald Dahl – famous for such classics as James and the Giant Peach, The BFG and Fantastic Mr Fox.
This year, we decided to ask our mums which of his truly awesome books you thought was the best. Around 123 of you responded.....and the winner is.....
