As a plus-size model, Tess Holliday is used to negative comments.

In fact, the size 22 model is "constantly shamed and criticised" for her body.

When she was pregnant with her 1st child she admits she "didn't love myself entirely".

But now 28 weeks into her 2nd pregnancy, Tess is in awe of her changing body and is happy to show that baby bumps come in all shapes and sizes.

"Every time I look at my tummy, I'm reminded at how amazing my body is. Even though I've had a baby before, I didn't love myself entirely.. So now every kick, every pain, is incredible to me," she wrote, sharing the selfie.

"I get constantly shamed & criticized for existing in this body, but the problem isn't my size, it's others inability to comprehend that beauty doesn't come pre packaged in one size. I'm embracing my stomach getting bigger, stretch marks, & loving this little life I'm growing ??," she added.

But despite Tess's body-positive message, body-shamers were again quick to criticise.

One commented: "As a child I grew up having a mother that was overweight. My mum couldn't participate in many activities due to her size. She wasn't as active as other people and I felt deprived. I wanted my mum to be 'normal' is what I thought when I was young. For that reason I've decided I will never have kids until I am healthy. You and all other severely overweight females should take this into consideration. It's selfish to raise a child and not be able to have fun and stay active or to deprive them of certain activities."

Others leapt to Tess's defence.

"No one knows how much or what she eats everyday or how much she exercises. We can't assume because she's a bigger girl she is unhealthy. As long as her baby is healthy that's all that matters," one responded.

"Took me years to love myself and my body, but thanks to positive role models like you it's a lot easier ;)" another added.

And Tess's resilience is something else.

Just days earlier, a troll photoshopped her head onto Ursula's body from Disney's The Little Mermaid – so Tess responded by making it her Twitter profile pic and posting a brilliant reply.

Some internet troll made this trying to offend me I guess, but the only thing I'm mad at is McDonald's sucks... In & Out is clearly better. ???? Also, #Ursula is amazing. Nice try tho ??," she commented.

Nice work Tess ?
