The mum of 4 reveals her new baby's fantastically cool name in gushing Instagram post
Sophie Ellis Bextor has given birth to her 4th baby – and she's completely smitten. Just last week we were all ahhhh-ing over a picture of Sophie's baby bump, and now it turns out the selfie was taken on the day she gave birth – Tuesday 3 November.
"He's here! Baby Jesse Jones, born on Tuesday 3rd November and now home safe with his family. We are all a bit smitten. Welcome to the world, darling boy. Xx," Sophie commented sharing a picture of herself with her newborn on Instagram.
The mum of 4 has chosen a rather gender-neutral name for her baby boy. Jesse is a biblical name meaning "gift" in Hebrew and is used for both boys and girls.
The 36-year-old and her husband Richard Jones are already parents to 3 boys, Sonny, 11, Kit, 6, and Ray, 3.
The new mum also shared a picture of a cake her sister Martha Ellis had made to celebrate the birth of her nephew. "Fabulous cake @marthaellisleach !! Jesse is a lucky nephew xx," she commented.
Sharing a picture of Jesse's tiny hand on her own Instagram page, proud Aunty Martha wrote: "Perfect Saturday night with teeny tiny new nephew ???"
