It's something we all know we should learn. And really it could save your baby's life. But how many of us actually know how to do baby CPR?

And even if you have a vague idea, do you know how many puffs of air you should give and how many chest pumps?

Well, you're not alone. A poll of 2,000 people found that only 1 in 4 parents would know what to do if their baby was unconscious and not breathing.

So now, a new video from St John Ambulance is aiming to make baby CPR easier to learn.

The nursery rhyme-themed video aims to teach baby CPR in a short, clear and reassuring way with a catchy song to help parents remember what to do in an emergency.

What to do when your baby (under 1 year old) is unconscious and not breathing – in 4 steps...

1. Call 999 or 112 for an ambulance

If you’re on your own, you need to give one minute’s worth of CPR before you can call for help. Make sure you take your baby with you when you ring 999 or 112.

2. Give 5 puffs

Put your lips around your baby's mouth and nose and blow steadily for up to one second. Give 5 puffs in total.

3. Give 30 chest pumps

Using two fingers in the centre of your baby's chest, give 30 pumps at a rate of approx 100-120 per minute
