Why Robbie Williams was "scared" of parents evening
The dad-of-2 made his excuses to avoid daughter's parents evening at nursery
Robbie Williams has admitted that he made excuses to get out of going to his daughter's parents evening. Teddy is only 2 and is at nursery, and the former Take That member said he didn't see the point of talking to his daughter's teachers.
"What are we going to talk about? Teddy isn’t even three. I don’t know what we were supposed to talk about," he said, according to the Mirror.
The 41-year-old, who's also dad to 10-month-old son Charlton, said he had to be in the studio instead of visit the nursery.
"I don’t like that many people. It’s rare I get into the room and go, ‘Yeah, I like that person and that person,’ out of 5,000 people, let alone being thrown into a room full of parents, that scares me. There was a parent evening for the nursery Teddy goes to and it filled me full of fear.
"It was either take a Valium and go or pretend I’ve got to be in the studio… and that gets me out of everything.
"So I pretended I was in the studio."
