19% of parents blame infidelity for being late for the school run
Shock results in poll on why parents are late to pick up their children
Work, traffic and infidelity are being blamed by parents for being late to collect their children from school, a new poll by online competition site Winmonkey.co.uk has revealed.
Work commitments topped the bill, with 53% of parents blaming their job for lateness, closely followed by car problems, a TV show they wanted to see the end of, and traffic.
Shockingly, the other causes named were hair appointments, online gaming and infidelity, which a massive 19% blamed for their late dash to the school gates.
The survey which involved 1,987 parents, found the top eight reasons were:
- Work Commitments
- Car problems
- Television show
- Traffic
- Hair dressers appointment
- Online gaming/shopping
- Drinking with friends
- Infidelity
