Martine and her musician husband Jay McManus shared the news in an interview with HELLO! magazine, where they revealed they are 'blessed' to be expecting a little boy.

The Love Actually actress said she’d assumed she might never become a mum due to her age and her 7-year battle with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

"We’d always said that if we were fortunate to be blessed with a child, that would be wonderful," Martine says, "but we were very aware that it’s not a given.

"As a woman in her late 30s who’s experienced health problems, I thought I might have to accept that it wasn’t a path my life was going to take. But it would have been a great sadness in our lives if that had been the case."

Fortunately, that’s not the case at all. Congratulations to Martine and Jay!
