Amanda Holden: 'I'm ready with towels and hot water, Holly!'
Holly Willoughby's This Morning maternity leave stand-in Amanda Holden shares cheeky tweet about waiting in the wings for Holly to go into labour
Holly Willoughby has vowed that she’ll stay on the This Morning sofa until she goes into labour. But she needn’t worry, as Amanda Holden is waiting in the wings with "towels and hot water!"
The Britain’s Got Talent judge will take over when Holly goes on maternity leave.
But Holly’s due date isn’t until October – so she’s probably got a bit of a wait yet.
"It's so hard to know when I'm going to go into labour," Holly's told the Mirror.
"I'm just going to keep working until one day I don't come back in again. That's what I've done before."
But on a visit to the This Morning set, Amanda couldn’t resist taking a cheeky selfie with pregnant Holly in the background.
"I am in the shadows prepared with towels and hot water!" she tweeted.
The 43-year-old is "over the moon" to cover Holly’s job. "I'm thrilled to be keeping Holly's seat on the sofa warm when she goes off on maternity leave," Amanda's said.
Holly, 33, is expecting her 3rd child with TV producer husband Dan Baldwin, 38. The couple already have Harry, 5, and 3-year-old Belle.
