Amanda Holden returns to work
Mum-of-two Amanda returns to the Britain's Got Talent judging panel two weeks after dramatic birth of second daughter Hollie
Amanda Holden is now back at work just over two weeks after giving birth to her second daughter Hollie Rose. The 40-year-old was reportedly in a critical condition in hospital after having a caesarean.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge made her first public appearance since her dramatic labour in Edinburgh for BGT auditions. Amanda joked she’s happy to be back on the show, especially after the recent rollercoaster ride of events.
“I am euphoric to be heading back to my place at the judges desk – to be honest after the last couple of weeks I’m euphoric to be anywhere,” said Amanda reports the Daily Mail.
Amanda was welcomed back to work with open arms by fellow judges Simon Cowell, David Williams and Alesha Dixon.
Simon was so happy to see her, he greeted Amanda with a giant teddy bear as a welcome back gift. Aww!
“It’s going to take me a bit of time to warm up. I haven’t spoken in three weeks,” said Amanda.
Despite her quick return to work, it hasn’t taken Amanda too long to get back to poking fun at Simon.
“The baby’s got Simon’s hair! I am looking forward to introducing Hollie to everyone on my next trip, teaching Simon how to change dirty nappies and leaving them both to discuss her trust fund,” joked Amanda.
