How did Anton Du Beke meet wife Hannah?

It's not exactly known, but we do know the couple start dating in 2007. They kept their relationship under wraps for a few years before the public found out, reports say.

Apparently, they met at a golfing event. And the rest, as they say, is history!

In 2016, Anton gave a rare quote about his long term love to the Mirror, saying: "Performing was the 'woman' in my life, if you like - but then Hannah came along.

"She’s just perfect. She’s very beautiful, clever, but also really kind."

On 5 November 2016, it was revealed that Hannah was pregnant with twins. Anton, 50 at the time, shared the happy news on Twitter and Instagram.

"Hannah and I are delighted to announce that we are expecting twins in the spring. We are over the moon!" he wrote, alongside a graphic that read: "We hear the tippety-tap of tiny feet!"

Anton kept the couple's public announcement pretty short and sweet, as they tend to be quite private about their personal lives, away from Strictly.

Though he did add in one interview: "You can't describe how it feels [to be expecting], it's very difficult to describe. It's unbelievable."

Anton and Hannah welcome twins

On 30 March 2017, Hannah gave birth to a baby girl and a baby boy, both healthy and well. She was about 41/42 at the time.

Anton, again, in a rare personal Instagram post, shared the news with a graphic and a quick caption: "Oh my! The little dancing feet have arrived. Mum and twins are perfect and dad is ridiculously excited! ? ? "

He didn't reveal the twins' names, but he did share that they indeed had one baby of each sex.

Mind, many still wondered why Anton had 'waited' until the age of 51 to become a first time dad. He told The Mirror:

"I wanted to be 100 per cent sure that my children’s mother would be the woman I would spend the rest of my life with. As soon as I knew I would be with Hannah forever, I wanted to have children with her."

In May 2017, it was reported that Anton and Hannah had married in secret. Anton's rep confirmed the news to MailOnline.

The news leaked after Hannah and Anton were pictured looking oh-so-loved up at The Chelsea Flower Show, and photographers spotted a big engagement ring and wedding band on Hannah's ring finger. Sussed!

It seems life with twins has been quite hectic and challenging for Anton, who's said: "Life has changed completely since the babies arrived, but in the most wonderful way.

"Doing all the family stuff, like going swimming and having splash time, well, it’s my very favourite thing."

Though we've yet to see pics of the little ones, we do know quite a bit about their 'very different' personalities. Little George is a bit more upfront than his sister, who Anton says is more considered.

"George is quite immediate, while Henrietta considers things more," he shared during an interview. "Having said this, as soon as she sees a mobile phone she wants it – more than any of her toys."

(Strictly fans were actually left until April 2018 to discover Anton's baby name picks for his son and daughter, despite his earlier joke that "I'm going for Anton and Antoinette.")

Anton, like lots of us, did reveal he was rather shocked that his 1-year-olds' injections had arrived so quickly, in a candid tweet.

"Wow, George and Henrietta’s 1 year (where’d that time go?) Injections today... not sure who was more traumatised, them or me!" he joked.
