Meet the little yellow men who are the current must-have for children in playgrounds up and down the country.

There are 16 to collect and for a fairly hefty pocket money sum of £1.99 (for 1 minifig), you take pot luck and choose a sealed yellow packet. Will you get the robot, the caveman, the demolition dummy or the, um, nurse?

So popular are these minifigs, there are now websites devoted to revealing the bar codes on each of the packets - so you can make sure you don't get repeats of ones you already have. Isn't that kinda cheating?

There are 16 more coming out in September including a karate kid, surfer dude and Egyptian emperor, so start saving.
