Breastfeeding mum films passengers who WON'T give up their train seats
She was stood on a train breastfeeding her 15-month-old, when she decided to pick up her phone...
Mum Bryony Esther has called out fellow train passengers – after no one on a busy service offered her a seat when she began breastfeeding her little one.
The MailOnline reports that she had asked if she could sit where some suitcases were placed – rather than waiting for someone to volunteer their seat – but her request was ignored.
So, in the middle of feeding her 15-month-old, Bryony managed to pick up her phone and film the offending passengers in order to ‘shame’ them on social media.
Bryony then took to Facebook to share the photo, along with a video of the group with the suitcases, and this strongly-worded caption:
“Having to stand on a train whilst breastfeeding my baby thanks to the lovely bunch of charmers giving more priority to their suitcases and rolling joints!!” she began.
“Plus the cyclist with a fancy bike that keeps rolling into me, sat in the disabled seat.
“Please share 'cos I’d love it if their mothers, girlfriends and wives get to see how they behave.”
Wow ? This mum’s really not happy – and we can’t say we blame her.
That said - we are rather impressed that multi-tasking Bryony was able to breastfeed and take the footage at the same time.
Have your say
Since we don’t actually know the personal circumstances of any of the passengers, we’ve disguised their faces in the pic – but we do want to know what you think of the whole situation in general.
Would you expect passengers to offer you their seat if you were breastfeeding – or would you outright ask for a place to sit?
How would you feel if no-one co-operated – would you be furious enough to take photos and post them on Facebook?
We’d love to know what you think – let us know on Facebook or in the comments below!
