The silk wrap dress worn by Kate Middleton at the official engagement photocall, that caused a right royal race to the shops, is now available with room for a growing baby bump.

Designed by one of the Duchess's favourite designer labels, Issa, the initial shopping frenzy that followed saw the engagement dress sell out in hours and spawned multiple high street copies.

Since the happy pregnancy news broke late last year, we have already been inundated with plenty of Kate-a-like outfits and royal baby booty.

The maternity version of Kate's iconic engagement dress has been designed by the same label and is available to buy online now at Blossom Mother & Child.

The classic wrap effect style, deep V-neck and knee length have been kept and the maternity version is also available in a striking geometric print style.

As it is a designer dress it is retailing at an eye-watering £522. Thanks to the cut it can be worn post-pregnancy too: so get going on the cost-per-wear fashion maths if you want to make a good argument for purchasing it!

However, if you want to steal Kate's style without blowing the budget, Peaks of London and Babes with Babies have some similarly gorgeous occasionwear styles at around £150.

So, whatever next for the Kate and bump bandwagon? MFM predicts a spot of Jenny Packham maternitywear, comfortable LK Bennett nude ballet pumps and a Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen christening dress.
