A-List singleton Jennifer Aniston has recently said that she’s ready for the next “challenging decade”, raising eyebrows that the former Friends actress was hinting at making 2010 her baby year.

Fuelling the baby speculations by clearing her film schedule for the next six months and allegedly seeking advice from fertility experts, the rumour mill is buzzing at talks of the 41-year-old opting for artificial insemination! “She’s never felt so healthy and strong and she’s at peace with the idea of having a baby on her own,” a source told Grazia magazine.

While researching her next film, The Baster, which is ironically about a woman who uses a sperm donor, Jen found out about Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) and enquired about her own position. “Jen’s research helped convince her that this would be a good path in her own life,” the source continued.

Although these are just some of the many rumours about Jennifer’s life, it is one that has surfaced on a number of occasions, even by Jen herself. Last October, the actress admitted to being open to suggestions when it came to having a baby. “I’m ready for anything. Bring it on. I wouldn’t rule anything out, but it wouldn’t be a first choice,” she said.

Meanwhile in tinsletown, another A-list actress has hinted at rumours of a 2010 baby – Sandra Bullock. After allegedly turning down 20 film roles in a bid to keep her schedule clear, the 45-year-old Oscar winning actress is said to keen on having a child with her hubby Jesse James. However, after today's revelations regarding her husband's fidelity, this may cause a cloud of doubt over whether these rumours will ever happen.

Already stepmum to Jesse’s 5-year-old daughter, Sandra was rumoured to be ready to have a child of her own. “Sandra will just smile and say, ‘I may surprise you!’ She knows it’s now or never,” a source told Showbiz Spy. “That’s why she’s turned down movie deals in three months, She wants to keep her slate clean to work on conceiving that baby.”

Sandra has previously spoke about her desire to have a biological child but stresses that she is happy with her step children too. “I hope God when we get to a place where all is safe, calm, happy and healthy, it’s not too late,” she revealed last year. “I have family in spades. Everything we do is about the kids.”

But following the allegations today that Jesse had been having an 11-month affair with tattooed model Michelle McGee, these baby making rumours seem unlikely to be made true.
