Celebrity pregnancy announcements!
Owen Wilson reveals he’s about to become a dad, plus EastEnders star Laurie Brett announces her baby news and French actress Marion Cotillard’s going to be a mum for the first time
There must be something in water in celebville as January is steadily becoming the month of the celebrity baby announcement! Following the news of Victoria Beckham’s fourth pregnancy, Hollywood actor Owen Wilson has announced his shock baby news – he’s going to be a dad in a matter of days!
The Little Focker star revealed the unexpected news that he’s to become a dad for the first time with his girlfriend, Jade Buell. The 42-year-old actor had kept the pregnancy completely under wraps and recently confirmed the news to US magazine, saying he was “very excited”. The couple are rumoured to be in Hawaii where Jade is due to give birth any day.
Another famous pregnancy announcement comes from EastEnders actress Laurie Brett, who has revealed that she is expecting her first baby. Laurie, 41, who plays downtrodden Jane Beale in the soap, has announced that she’s due to give birth in the summer and is said to be “over the moon” with the news.
However, Laurie’s growing baby bump could be a challenge on the EastEnders set as her character Jane is unable to have children – so there’s no chance of writing her pregnancy into the storyline. “We have a way of disguising things – she will probably be seen holding lot’s of tea trays or handbags!” said a spokeswoman from the BBC show, reports the Daily Mail.
And last but not least, Oscar winning actress Marion Cotillard has announced that she’s pregnant with her first baby with her beau of three years, Guillaume Canet. The 35-year-old French star confirmed her baby news on US magazine online.
Congratulations!
