Celine Dion determined to succeed with IVF
Singer reveals she will not give up trying for a second baby
Although Celine Dion’s recent round of IVF was unsuccessful, she is determined not to give up trying for a second child, reports People. The 41-year-old singer’s doctor announced that she was pregnant via IVF earlier this year, but the embryos transferred were unsuccessful.
“We are living the reality of the majority of couples who have to use IVF. The process can be long,” said Celine’s husband, Rene, 67. “But today, we are full of confidence. Celine is more determined than ever. She doesn’t let go.”
The couple have one son, 8-year-old Rene-Charles, who was also conceived with the help of IVF. “I admire all the women who go through this tough process. Since April, Celine’s had many examinations, hormone injections and blood tests. But we don’t get discouraged,” said Rene.
The couple are planning to go to New York this weekend for another round of IVF.
