Children ask 73 questions a day... is that all?!
But which queries proved the trickiest to answer?
A survey of 1,500 people has revealed kids ask a whopping 73 questions every day - half of which parents can't answer.
And while a third of parents said they found the constant barrage of questions slightly tiring, 4 out of 10 also agreed they were actually pretty proud of their child's interest in the world ?
Unsurprisingly, the most common AND most difficult to answer were these:
- Why do people die?
- Where did I come from?
- What is God?
- How was I made?
- What does “we can’t afford it” mean?
- Is Father Christmas real?
- Why do I have to go to school?
- When you die who will I live with?
- Why is the sky blue?
- Why can’t I stay up as late as you?
Hmmmm, who can relate? ☝️☝️☝️?
The poll, commissioned by Argos and the Chad Valley Tots Town range, also revealed that children are at their most inquisitive aged 4 and that boys and girls are equally curious as each other.
