Chrissy Teigen's baby name is out of this world

Later, clearly super-excited to be a mum, Chrissy tweeted: "Thank you for all the well wishes! We are so happy! I dunno what to tweet now. Does my Twitter change? This is so awkward."

And, with a cheeky touch, she added, "To everyone asking, John is healing perfectly."

We love Chrissy's and John's unusual baby-name name. Luna means 'moon' in Latin – and is also the name of the Roman goddess of the moon. It's become more popular lately, thanks to Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter. Although the couple haven't said they're big Harry Potter fans, we reckon the magical namesake is hard to ignore.

Luna's middle name, Simone, is derived from Simon, which means 'one who hears' in Hebrew. And her last name, Stephens, is John Legend's real surname.

While still pregnant, Chrissy said she was anticipating a steep learning curve once she became a mum.

"I've never truly been alone with a kid," she told Self magazine. "I don't think I've changed a diaper! I'm like, how many times a day do they go?"

Chrissy's also said she'd been having bouts of anxiety in pregnancy, while her husband John is more relaxed. "I'm a worrier," she said, "and he's very laid-back.

"I like to ask him little questions, like, 'What would you do if our kid is 16 or 17, and we're at dinner celebrating and having wine. Would you let her have some wine?'

"And he's like, 'Yeah!'.

"And I'm like, 'I don't know if I would!' I am the crazier one in the relationship, and he's more relaxed for sure."
