Clarks launches new Roald Dahl-themed trainers just in time for World Book Day
Kids can wear designs based around their favourite Roald Dahl character.
World Book Day is fast approaching and Clarks is tossing its hat – or rather its shoes – into the ring with a brand new range of literary-themed trainers.
In celebration of Roald Dahl, the shoe retailer has launched four new exclusive designs centred around the authors' best loved books and characters.
Matilda, James and the Giant Peach, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Enormous Crocodile, have all been featured in the new collection.
These designs have been featured on trainers, sandals and toddler shoes from sizes 3 to 12.5.
According to Clarks, this campaign "Encourages families to embrace the power of storytelling – because there’s no better feeling than stepping into a story."

The Clarks Roald Dahl range is available now. It went on sale on 3rd March 2025 and is now in stock both in store and online.

What's included in the Clarks Roald Dahl shoe collection?
There are four designs included in the Clarks' new collection, each centred around a popular Roald Dahl story or character. Each design is available as a kids trainer between size 3 and 12.5, plus there are additional designs for kids sandals and toddler Roamer shoes.

Matilda
Dahl's beloved genius – and powerful telepath – Matilda has been represented with these off-white canvas sneakers featuring an an all-over letter print and signature red bows. The words "Brave" and "Mighty" have been printed on the soles, to encourage your child to embody Matilda's fearlessness and love of learning.
