Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall doesn't do selfies. Nope. Not ever. Well, not until his 1-year-old daughter Sienna-Rae was in the frame...

We imagine Alan, who plays Tyrone Dobbs in the ITV soap, was chilling with Sienna-Rae and his thought process went something like this: "Oh what’s that, Sienna? You want to look at my phone? Let’s just take a quick picture of you. Aw, that is the cutest picture I’ve EVER seen."

And that is how the man once above selfies succumbed and posted this little beauty to Twitter.

"Not usually a fan of a ‘selfie’ but I will make an exception for this one #daddyslittleprincess," Alan tweeted.

And the father-and-daughter pair have good reason to smile, as the whole family have just recovered from a nasty tummy bug, according to Alan's wife and Corrie co-star Lucy-Jo Hudson.

"This awful sickness and diarrhoea bug that's been going round hit @alanhalsall, myself and our poor little girl this week," Lucy-Jo tweeted.

It was so bad that Alan had to take his first ever sick day from the Street set.

"Yesterday was my 1st ever day off sick from @itvcorrie in 16 years… gutted. But happy to report feeling much better today!" he tweeted.
