US parents lose children after naming them Adolf Hitler and Aryan Nation
A US couple have lost custody of their children after naming one Adolf Hitler and another Aryan Nation.
Parents Heath and Deborah Campbell have claimed that their children were removed from their care, despite winning a New Jersey appeals court battle earlier this year.
“The judges and DYFS (Division of Youth and Family Services) told us that there was no evidence of abuse and it was the names. They were taken over the children’s names,” said dad Heath, reports ABC.
The case began when a store refused to put the child’s name on a birthday cake back in 2009.
“It’s not like he’s growing up to be a killer or nothing like that. I just went to get a cake,” said mum Deborah.
A judge will decide whether the children will be placed back into their parent’s care in December.
