At first glance, this father-son selfie looks like a "look at me and my 6-pack" snap - but then you look again and realise it's been posed for all the right reasons.

Proud dad Robert Selby shared the pic of him and his uber-cute 3 year old son Chace on Instagram to highlight the little boy's heart condition.

Chace has a congenital heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot, and has to have a feeding tube as he struggles to eat normally.

His dad decided to take a pic of them together with him wearing a (fake) feeding tube just like his son's, as a sign of solidarity.

Alongside the gorgeous pic, Robert wrote:

"My (son) is sucking in his stomach, trying to show off his abs like his daddy, but all you see are his little ribs.

"I just cut and glued one of his G-tubes on me to show support for him. He has a congenital heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot and he uses a feeding-tube (g-tube) to help with him being underweight due to him not eating orally as much."

Robert concluded the post with:

"But as long as I'm breathing, I'll always support my son and he'll never be in a fight alone."

Unsurprisingly, the image has now gone viral, notching up over 7.5 likes and being widely-shared across the web.

What a lovely, lovely dad, eh? ?
