Dannii Minogue's pregnancy style and beauty secrets
The 38-year-old mum-to-be is blooming - here's how...
We love Dannii’s pregnancy style. She’s glam and chic, she’s still wearing her heels, but she’s also dressing for comfort – and she’s happy to let everyone see her bump, too.
‘Becoming a mum has already changed a few things in my wardrobe,’ Dannii told M&S when she was filming their new ad campaign. ‘I literally don’t fit into any of my jeans now, I’m discovering what maternity jeans are. I think you’ve got to enjoy the fact your body is changing. I’m proudly showing it off.’
And at five months pregnant, Dannii is totally radiant. Her skin is glowing, her eyes are sparkling and she’s wearing a big smile all the time. Pregnancy definitely suits her.
You can see how she got this look here.
She’s known to be a fan of Mamas and Papas maternity range , and has recently been spotted wearing this loose-fitting Indigo lace top (£28, from the Future Form Spring collection).
And of course she’s very definitely the star of the new M&S spring/summer ads. We love the gorgeous empire line Per Una Florentine beaded dress she's wearing here (£45), available soon - the flared skirt is incredibly flattering and perfect for a special occasion.
In addition to preparing for her new arrival, Dannii’s been working on creating a capsule clothing collection, Project D, with her best mate, handbag designer Tabitha Webb, which she revealed on Twitter will be available from June in the UK. ‘This is my first leap in to the UK fashion scene and I am putting everything on the line to make this something beautiful that women love,’ she said on her blog recently.
5ft 2in-tall Dannii loves her heels - here she's wearing Autograph's peep toe slingbacks (£39.50). The denim skirt is a great alternative to jeans when you're pregnant. The Pintuck Embroidered Shirt is £25, and the hat is £12. All available from M&S.
When it comes to skincare, Dannii adores natural, organic products. She’s known to be a huge fan of New Zealand skincare range Trilogy – her favourite products include their Everything Balm (£12), which is also gentle enough for babies, and Age Proof COQ10 Serum (£27.95), which helps boost collagen production and contains Tamanu Oil to keep the skin moisturised.
Dannii loves Deborah Mitchell's Heaven skincare products and treatments , particularly the pregnancy massage, which in the second trimester includes a double back massage (we like the sound of that!) She’s also a big fan of Heaven's Bee Venom Mask (£55), calling it the ‘new alternative to Botox’.
Dannii says she’s ‘crazy’ about ARK’s rose, jasmine and orange-scented ‘Loving’ fragrance and room diffuser to help her unwind.
She keeps her make-up simple, but likes MAC cosmetics, particularly their foundation.
Dannii also uses Shizen natural lip products (available here from QVC), particularly the Lip Scrub (£22.50). ‘These Australian-made products are incredible,’ she says.
