Denise Van Outen proud to show off her “baby weight”
As baby Betsy reaches 2 months, Denise is sharing mum stories at work with Melanie Sykes
Denise Van Outen has told TV Biz she’s happy to be out and being photographed despite still carrying some baby weight from her pregnancy. Baby Betsy was born 2 months ago and Denise is not putting any pressure on herself to lose the weight.
“I’m bigger that I used to be obviously, because she is still only 2 months old. But I’m just so pleased to be a mum. I wanted to enjoy being out and seeing my friends and telling them about the baby,” Denise explained.
However, many would point to the stunning shots of the new mum at David Walliam’s wedding just 2 weeks after Betsey was born, which suggest she’s barely carrying any extra pounds at all!
Returning to work this week on Channel 4’s 5’oclock show, Denise also talked about her friendship with co-presenter Melanie Sykes, which has been strengthened now they are both mums.
“Mel has two sons, it was her who told me it was time. She said ‘You just have to have one’. It has taken our friendship to another level.”
Can you spot an extra pound? Denise will be co-presenting the 5 o’clock show this week.
