It’s another baby for EastEnders' Linda - or at least for actress Kellie Bright and her husband Paul Stocker.

39-year-old Kellie, best known to ‘Enders fans as Mick Carter's wife Linda, announced on Twitter that she’s expecting a sibling for her 4-year-old son Freddy in November, when she'll be 40.

“Sssh… don’t tell anyone, but I’m pregnant!

"My hubby and I are over the moon & looking forward to meeting our little person in Nov #mama@40” she wrote using a hashtag that we love, by the way.

Kellie's real life joy is a sharp contrast to the pregnancy and baby dramas that Linda has suffered as mum and landlady of the Queen Vic. After a paternity test revealed the father of her baby Ollie was indeed her husband and not Dean, the man who'd raped her, the couple faced more trauma when their son was rushed to hospital after he stopped breathing. They're now unsure whether he may have suffered permanent brain damage.

That storyline will run for a while, but Linda will then disappear from our screens at some point during her pregnancy. But fear not, soap lovers. Kellie also confirmed on Twitter that she’ll be returning to Albert Square post-baby to continue playing Linda, who she’s been portraying since 2013.

“And for those of you that want to know, I will be returning to EastEnders after I've had the baby #queenvicismyhome #LindaCarter4ever xx”

Congrats, Kellie!
