The actor, who played Andy Sugden on the ITV soap, appeared alongside wife Eliza Marsland and his 2-month-old daughter on the cover of OK! magazine.

Eliza and Kelvin used the cover to introduce their daughter to fans for the first time, and reveal her name: Marnie Molly Fletcher.

Awww - so sweet! ?

Marnie - which is derived from the name ‘Marina’, meaning ‘from the sea’ - is such a lovely choice, don’t you think?

It’s a name used often in films and TV shows: one of the main characters on Lena Dunham’s hit show Girls shares the name, as does the title of an Alfred Hitchcock thriller from the ‘60s.

Middle name Molly is a Hebrew name said to mean ‘bitter’, according to baby name site nameberry.

In their OK! interview, Kelvin gushed about life as a new dad… and described how Eliza’s difficult 30-hour labour has changed his perspective on their relationship.

"I have the utmost respect for her and my love for her has gone up tenfold, and in a different way too; there's a bond that's created instantly and I'm indebted to Liz forever for bringing Marnie into the world. It's a miracle."

Meanwhile, fellow Emmerdale actor Lucy Pargeter (who soap fans will know best as Chas Dingle) has just announced her 2nd pregnancy.

The 39-year-old actress confirmed she was expecting ‘long-awaited’ twins, 11 years after the birth of her 1st child, Lola.

She and partner Rudi Coleano said via a spokesperson for the show, that they’re expecting to meet their twins in Spring 2017.

Huge congrats to all ?
