Exciting first look at the new limited edition Bugaboo Fox Stellar
Bugaboo have launched a new limited edition Fox that glows in the dark
It’s fair to say Bugaboo have always made its fair share of stand-out pushchairs. From Andy Warhol and Van Gogh prints and collaborations with designers Diesel, Viktor&Rolf and We Are Handsome, you know a Bugaboo when you see one.
And now the newest Bugaboo pushchair to the collection, the Fox, is coming out in in a limited edition that will be hard to miss, especially at night.
The new Bugaboo Fox Stellar has had a facelift that’s also a great safety upgrade, as it glows in the dark, right in time for those dark winter nights.
It has reflective chassis, wheel caps, and zippers Scotchlite reflective technology when illuminated by a light source and provides 360° night-time visibility from up to 150m away.
This new addition also includes a weather-proof underseat basket with cover and a high-performance rain cover with reflective strips.
The Fox was already billed as a sustainable, environmentally-friendly stroller for parents short on space at home or in the boot.
Weighing more than the lightweight Bee (the Fox is 10kg), it has the robust big wheels of the Cameleon and is a dream to push around. It almost seems to glide when you touch the handle.
Suitable from birth (with the carrycot) to 17kg (around 3 years) the Fox is easy to carry, easy to fold with just one hand, and usable on just about every terrain.
The larger wheels in the back seem to be there for the heavy duty strolling – designed to absorb the shocks to the seat from trickier terrain. (Bugaboo said they'd tested it out in snow, too.)
Suspension in the front wheels are what helps keep it from feeling stocky, we reckon, and make it easier to manoeuvre through those not-so-buggy-friendly areas.
The Fox is also designed to be compact, and we mean seriously compact. The wheels come off for a more compact fold.
