Exclusive look at the brand new Babystyle Quail pushchair
It's a new, smaller and sleeker version of the popular Babystyle Egg buggy - due to hit the shops at the end of 2017
If you’re a fan of best-selling pushchair Babystyle Egg, prepare to be excited as the British buggy brand has just revealed a newer, smaller version of the pushchair.
Called the Quail (as they keep the poultry theme going) this new buggy looks like a smaller, slimmer version of the Egg.
It still has the sleek, clean lines of a hen’s egg that has made the Egg buggy so distinctive, but it’s a little subtler.
Suitable to 15kg (around 3 years), the Quail was showcased exclusively at the Harrogate Nursery Fair, and is sure to be as highly-anticipated as the Egg.
The Quail isn’t due to come to market until the end of 2017, and at the time of writing (March) Babystyle still don’t have an exact weight for the buggy.
What we do know is that, unlike the Egg, the Quail will not come with a carrycot, and also won’t convert from a single to a double buggy.
It will, however, fold with the seat unit on (see the video below) and will be travel system compatible.
The Quail also has a unique feature in the form of interchangeable, magnetic panels on the back of the seat unit (pictured above).
A collection of 10 panels can be attached to the back of the buggy to give it a different, eclectically stylish look: snakeskin, crocodile skin and rose gold leather are just a few of the options available.
All-in-all, this pushchair is likely to cost £599, around the same price of the Bugaboo Bee 5.
