Sandi Thom spilled boiling water over her baby bump – ouch!
Pregnant Sandi Thom suffered a scare this weekend when she accidentally tipped boiling water over her baby bump.
The pregnant singer – remember the song I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair? Yeah that's her – shared a picture of the rather painful looking burn on Twitter.
"Accidentally spilled boiling hot water on my pregnant belly. So painful. But baby is ok & that's the main thing," she tweeted on Sunday.
Sandi is 36 weeks pregnant – and luckily her baby was unharmed.
A day later she shared a baby bump selfie. "Ready to pop!!" she tweeted on Monday.
The Scottish singer and her husband Matt Benson got engaged just 3 weeks after they first met in Los Angeles last year. The couple then announced they were expecting their first child in September and wed later that month at a ranch in Malibu.
Following the 4-day nuptials, Sandi wrote on Facebook: "What a magical 4 days we had at the Malibu Canyon Ranch with our family and friends. A marriage, a baby shower, a family reunion and new forever friends made. We're so so blessed the lot of us."
