It’s just one of those inevitable things that many couples experience once kids are in the picture: a bit less time in the bedroom.

Whether it’s the never-ending need to keep ‘em occupied, the ever-mounting piles of washing and homework or the lack of date nights (and sleep, don’t forget sleep) - there are a million reasons why sex can become less frequent when you’re a parent.

And celeb couples are no different, it seems, if ex-England footballer Wayne Bridge’s comments in the I’m A Celeb jungle are anything to go by.

The 36-year-old dad-of-3 shares 2 kids with The Saturdays singer wife Frankie Bridge, and admitted that sex has indeed dropped off the priority list a bit post-babies.

After the campmates were asked if 47% or 53% of parents thought their sex life was better after having kids - Wayne was shocked that it was the higher answer.

He said in the Bush Telegraph:

"I think they're having it on! How can you say it's better? It either stays the same or gets less.

"I think it's always been up there with me and Frankie really. You're together for years so you obviously try everything out before you've had babies surely."

But upon his exit from the jungle - Frankie wasn’t best pleased!

Chatting after Wayne’s eviction from the show, in clips aired on the I’m A Celeb coming out show, Frankie said:

"I could have killed you when you started to talk about our sex life… I was sat with my mum,” she joked.

"The first comment was when you were sat in camp, saying "Oh no, it definitely goes down when you’ve had kids", I was like 'OK babe, I thought we did alright'."

Wayne also told the Daily Star post-jungle: “I work hard for that every time we have it.

“I'm the instigator because I want it every day. But it's hard when you've got young kids.”

Wow… these are certainly very candid confessions. And in the spirit of candidness, we thought we’d ask you what you think.
