Gisele Bundchen reveals her post-baby body secrets
Brazilian supermodel believes yoga and Kung Fu is the key to looking great after birth
Supermodel Gisele Bundchen, who once said that giving birth “didn’t hurt in the slightest”, has revealed how losing her baby weight was a breeze too – after snapping back into shape instantly after giving birth. Her secret? Treat your body like a temple, apparently.
“I think a lot of people get pregnant and decide they can turn into garbage disposals. I was mindful about what I ate and I gained only 30 pounds,” 29-year-old Gisele boasted to US Vogue magazine.
The svelte new mum to 3-month-old Benjamin also revealed that regaining her slim bod after baby was down to practising yoga and getting sweaty at Kung Fu classes. “I think it's muscle memory. I did Kung Fu up until two weeks before Benjamin was born and yoga three days a week.”
Gisele also spoke about her role as step mum to her husband Tom Brady’s little boy John, 2. John's mother Bridget Moynahan had previously aired her anger at the model for referring to the boy as her son. “It’s not like because somebody else delivered him, that’s not my child," commented Gisele. "I already feel like he’s my son, from the first day.”
