David Beckham insists that daughter Harper stands just as much chance as her three brothers of becoming a global football star - as long as Victoria doesn't take her down the fashion designer route first!

The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder revealed he’s a massive fan of women’s football and can see his baby girl bending it like him on the pitch one day.

Asked whether he would mind if his 12-month-old slipped on a No.7 jersey, David replied; “No, not at all. Obviously, when we were living in America that was a big thing, girls playing football.”

“The girls are very talented over there, and women’s football is big in England and Europe as well so… we’ll see.”

And with the prospect of all four of his children following in his footsteps, the 37-year-old claims he loves nothing more than taking Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 10, and Cruz, 8, out on the training ground too.

“I always wanted kids I could take to work and for them to experience the things I experience. So, having three boys as a footballer was a dream,” adds David, reports the Metro.

“And now to have a little girl who lightens up my day every time I see or speak to her. My children are my life.”

“It’s amazing. But, you know, they’re very grounded, they do normal things – as normal as they can, obviously, given our situation.”

David recently opened up about the hardships of juggling his family and career and insists he makes sure he has quality one-on-one time with his children whenever possible.

The 37-year-old says he loves taking the boys to basketball games and recently treated Harper to some fashion-filled days out in the sun - and we love this particular snap of Harper stroking David affectionately, aww!
