Call The Midwife's Helen George chooses a bird-inspired baby name
The BBC actress has picked an old-school name for her daughter...
Well, we are just thrilled to see that someone's taken inspiration from our 21 animal and bird-themed baby names piece ?
OK, so we don't know exactly where actress Helen George got the idea for her newborn's moniker, but hear us out...
The 33-year-old Call The Midwife star gave birth to a girl at the end of September 2017, and has selected the name: Wren Ivy.
Wren's been rising in popularity since 2012, according to Nameberry. We're not surprised, either, because a wren is a sweet songbird, similar in size and looks to a robin.
We also love the middle name, which is of course inspired by nature and gives us major Blue Ivy vibes.
Little Wren is Helen and partner Jack Ashton's 1st child, and arrived early enough to make an appearance at mum's baby shower ?
